Capital City Groundskeeping Expands as Entrepreneur Graduates from NC State

Raleigh, NC (March 17, 2014) – Capital City Groundskeeping is looking to expand its commercial lawn care division. With over 10 years in the Triangle, serving residential homeowners has been the business model, having 100% organic growth. Owner Ryan Walsh has made headlines before in Raleigh’s News and Observer, as well as, North Carolina State University’s Technician, for his Entrepreneurship since high school and overcoming the tough economy back in 2008-09.

Along with commercial services expansion, Capital City Groundskeeping (C.C.G.) is partnering with local sod producers to provide “turn-key” sod installation. With few easy access sod companies in the greater Raleigh area, we seek in providing a new easy, affordable option to design, deliver, and install fresh sod, both for commercial and residential clients.

Owner Ryan Walsh not only has this new certification from the Turfgrass Council of North Carolina (TCNC) but he is the youngest. Hi and thank you so much for visiting Capital City Groundskeeping. We’re a full service lawn care and groundskeeping company based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. I started performing lawn maintenance to my clients with one philosophy in mind: provide consistent, superior service while building lasting relationships within our community. As a recent graduate of North Carolina State University, B.S. Turfgrass Science and Biological Sciences, I’ve grown passionate about lawn care and enjoy learning about the constantly growing green industry. After founding CCG over ten years ago, I’m proud in the growth we’ve achieved and excited about our future projects.
